About Us
Caldera clothing was established in 2007 by Jon Calder when he returned to England following extensive world travel. Having lived for extensive periods in Sydney, Barcelona and Perpignan Jon returned to England with a broad cultural palette from which to draw his designs. Noticing that the British people where becoming more and more open minded about their dress sense, Jon felt an affinity for this movement and started designing clothing to match.
Already a talented artist he started using his skills designing with the stretchy Rayon knitwear you will see still used to this day for the reversible cardigans in the knitwear section. He soon found his "formula".
Understanding that his customers wanted quirky, interesting and flattering designs and having a good eye for colour, lead Jon to develop a range of clothing that has been popular all over the U.K.
Jon often produces just short runs of clothing as he continually tests the market, always looking to develop a "winner"! This leads to a range that is constantly evolving and striving to proving his customers with "something special"...
